Verdant foliage glistens in the aftermath of a cleansing rain. Soft rainfall and overcast conditions make for perfect forest photography because the light is very even. I shot this image from the roof of my vehicle, as shooting from a higher angle helps get more depth into the foreground of the picture. I also used the road to help draw viewers into the scene. There is something very special about being in the bush in a gentle shower - the freshness of the air is invigorating, for rain brings life.
